Fire danger remains on the high side

SW Montana is not currently under a fire weather watch or Red Flag Warning, but there’s still a potential for dry thunderstorms and fire starts this afternoon.

City by City Forecast:

BOZEMAN: HIGH THURSDAY: 86°. LOW: 56°; Highs will remain in the middle 80s today with a chance of thunderstorms between 2 and 10 pm tonight. Lows will be in the middle 50s. Chance of Precipitation: 40%.

BUTTE: HIGH THURSDAY: 86°. LOW: 52°; Highs will climb into the middle 80s with a few afternoon thunderstorms in the area. Lows fall into the lower 50s tonight. Chance of Precipitation: 30%.

DILLON: HIGH THURSDAY: 85°. LOW: 51°; °. Partly cloudy skies will prevail in the morning with a chance of some afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will remain in the middle 80s. Chance of Precipitation: 40%.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: HIGH THURSDAY: 70°. LOW: 38°; After a chilly start this morning, temps will climb their way into the lower 80s for highs. However, a chance for afternoon thunderstorms exist through midnight. Chance of Precipitation: 40%.
